VANILLA WAFER CAKE 
2 sticks butter, softened
2 c. sugar
6 eggs
1 (12 oz.) box vanilla wafers, finely crushed
1/2 c. milk
1 (7 oz.) pkg. flaked coconut
1 c. chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 325°F. Grease and flour a tube pan. I use

Baker's Joy to prepare cake pan. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add wafer crumbs alternately with milk. Stir in coconut and pecans. Pour in prepared tube pan.

Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes or until cake tests done.
