1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
4 eggs
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla or lemon
1 can pie filling

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well. Add vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients and blend in. Pour into a 17"x11" greased cookie sheet. Make cuttings of 24 pieces. Put one spoon pie filling in center of each cutting. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. After cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
