5 tbsp. sugar
2 1/2 tbsp. cinnamon
5 apples, chopped
2 1/3 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. orange juice
1 c. oil
4 eggs

Mix 5 tablespoons sugar, cinnamon and apples; set aside. Mix batter (remaining ingredients) and then layer batter, layer apples, etc. End with batter.

Bake at 350°F for 1 1/2 hours. Works well in a tube or Bundt pan. "Grease pan."
