SUE WELDON'S FOUR LAYER PUDDING 
FIRST LAYER:

1 c. flour
1/2 c. pecans or walnuts (ground fine)
1/2 c. soft butter

Mix as pie crust. Press into 9x13 pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes; let cool.

SECOND LAYER:

1 c. Cool Whip
1 c. powdered sugar
1 sm. pkg. cream cheese, softened

Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth; fold in Cool Whip. Spread over pie crust.

THIRD LAYER:

2 sm. pkgs. instant pudding (either chocolate or vanilla)
3 c. milk

Beat together 2 minutes. Pour over second layer.

FOURTH LAYER:

Before serving, spread a layer of Cool Whip on top.

NOTE: Do first 3 layers a day ahead. Be sure first layer is real cool before adding second layer.
