SPAGHETTI SOUP 
6 c. water
1 lb. ground chuck
1 sm. onion, diced
Salt
Pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 (14 oz.) can tomatoes (cut up)
1 (7 oz.) box spaghetti

Brown chuck in skillet. Add salt, pepper, and garlic; drain. In large pot, place browned chuck, onion, and water. Bring to a boil. Boil for 5 to 10 minutes. Add tomatoes. Simmer 25 minutes. Add spaghetti; cover with lid. Turn heat off. Let stand 20 minutes.

More water may be added before spaghetti if needed.

Hint: Add a little tomato juice for color and flavor before turning off heat.
