SPICY NUTS 
In a large bowl beat 1 egg white with 2 tablespoons water until mixture is frothy. In a shallow dish stir together 3/4 cup sugar, 1/4 cup cornstarch, 2 teaspoons cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon each nutmeg and allspice, and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Toss 1 pound shelled pecans, almonds or walnuts or a mixture in egg white to coat well. Roll them in spiced sugar mixture and spread in single layer in jelly roll pan. Bake in 250 degree oven for 1 1/2 hours, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool, then store in air tight container.
