APPLE DESSERT 
2 c. flour
1 c. butter
2 tsp. sugar

CUSTARD:

2 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
3 egg yolks
3 tbsp. cornstarch (mix with milk)

FILLING:

6-8 apples, peeled
1 c. sugar
Dash of cinnamon

MERINGUE:

3 egg whites
1/2 c. sugar
Vanilla

Mix crust and pat into 9 x 13 inch greased cake pan. Cut apples and spread over crust. Sprinkle apples with 1 cup sugar and dash of cinnamon. Bake covered with tin foil for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Cook custard until thick. Pour over apples and crust. Take the egg whites, sugar and a little vanilla and beat into a meringue. Put on top of custard. Brown for about 10 minutes at 400 degrees.
