INDIAN FRY BREAD 
2 c. flour
1/2 c. instant nonfat dry milk
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. shortening or oil
3/4 c. water

Knead dough until smooth and like velvet. Roll out and cut or make flat patties with hands. Fry in deep fat. Great served with jellies on top.
