POPPY SEED LETTUCE SALAD 
1 head lettuce
1 can Mandarin oranges, drained
1 lg. purple onion, sliced
Fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/2 lb. bacon, cooked & crumbled
Sunflower seeds

DRESSING:

3/4 c. sugar
1 c. vegetable oil
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 to 1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. vinegar
1 1/2 tbsp. minced onion
2 tbsp. poppy seeds

Put ingredients for dressing into blender. Blend together. Pour over lettuce salad. Top with sunflower seeds.

Dressing lasts a long time in refrigerator.
