FRENCH BREAD CASSEROLE | |
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef (raw, lean) 1/4 c. bread crumbs 1 can sliced mushrooms Green pepper, chopped 1 loaf French bread 1 egg 2/3 c. canned milk 1 tbsp. mustard 2 c. Velveeta cheese, cubed 1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 3/4 tsp. Accent or Lowry's season salt Mix ingredients; ground beef, bread crumbs, mushrooms, green pepper. Add egg, mustard, cheese, salt and pepper and Accent. Shallow out a loaf of French bread and pack met mixture into loaf. Cover bread with aluminum foil leaving meat mixture uncovered. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Could take a little less time or a little more. |
