CHINESE NOODLE SALAD 
Chop 1 bunch of green onions (tops and all); shred 1 small head of cabbage. Mix together; cover and refrigerate.

Bread up 2 packages Ramen noodles (toss or set aside flavor packets). Gently brown noodles in 1/2 cup butter; remove with slotted spoon and set aside. Brown 1/2 cup sesame seeds and 1 small package slivered almonds in the remaining butter; set aside.

Mix 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1/2 cup white vinegar, 1/2 cup oil and 1/2 cup sugar. Add oil dressing to cabbage mix and refrigerate. Add noodles, sesame seeds, and nuts just before serving, as the noodles tend to soften.
