MICROWAVE PEA POD - WRAPPED
SHRIMP
 
12 fresh pea pods, or more
1 tbsp. water
12 med. shrimp, shelled & deveined or more
12 wooden picks
3 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
2 tsp. lime juice
1/4 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1 clove garlic ends removed, peeled & minced

Remove strings from pea pods and arrange on plate. Sprinkle with water. Cover with plastic wrap. Microwave at high for 1-1 1/2 minutes, or just until pea pods are flexible. Cool slightly. Wrap 1 pea pod around middle of each shrimp. Secure with wooden pick. Place wrapped shrimp in 9 inch round cake dish. Set aside.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
