HAWAIIAN HAM - LOW CHOLESTEROL 
3 c. lean cooked ham, diced
1 med. onion, sliced
1 sm. green pepper, sliced in rings
1 c. canned pineapple cubes with juice
1/2 c. seedless raisins
2 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. vinegar
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. soy sauce (opt.)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Put the cubed ham in a 2 1/2 quart casserole dish. Arrange the onion and green pepper rings on top. Drain the pineapple cubes. Reserve the juice and add water to make one cup. Place the fruit over the vegetables. Sprinkle with the raisins. Blend the mustard, sugar, cornstarch and salt in a small saucepan. Stir in the pineapple juice and vinegar and cook while stirring until the mixture boils and is clear. Blend in the Worcestershire and soy sauces. Pour over the ham and vegetables in the casserole. Bake, uncovered 45 to 60 minutes. Serve over boiled rice.

Excellent recipe. I didn't bake the ham in it but used it as a sauce on top of ham steak. I put the onion, pepper, raisins and pineapple cubes plus juice in a pan, cooked it added the ham steak (precooked maple) for the recommended time. I mixed the mustard to the soy in a sep bowl. When the ham was finished cooking I added the cornstarch mix, thicked and added to ham. Excellent flavor. The only thing I added was a bit of butter to the thickening sauce. Excellent sauce would be very good to cook as recommended in recipe.
