TOP CHOCOLATE CHOCOLATE CAKE 
2 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. shortening
2 eggs
1/2 c. sour cream
1/4 tsp. baking soda (in milk)
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. cocoa
1 c. boiling water with 1 tsp. baking soda

Mix all together except add boiling water with soda last. The batter will be thin. Makes two 9 inch layers. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
