SAUSAGE BREAD
3/4 lb. Italian sausage, removed from casing and crumbled
2 eggs, beaten
2 med. peppers, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
Salt and pepper
1 lb. bread dough from market or bakery
6 oz. pkg. grated Mozzarella
1 tbsp. grated Parmesan
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
Egg yolk to brush top of bread

Cook sausage in skillet until well done, remove from heat, drain fat. Stir in eggs and let set.

In separate pan, saute onion, chopped pepper and garlic in a little butter or oil.

Flatten bread dough over a lightly greased 10x14 cookie sheet, spread sausage over dough leaving a one inch border around the edge. Top with peppers and onions, sprinkle with cheeses and seasonings.

Roll dough to form a loaf (long way), pinch edges to seal. Place seam side down on cookie sheet. Paint top with egg yolk. Bake at 350 degrees for about 50 minutes. Loaf should sound hollow when tapped. Slice and serve hot.
