KURA PAPRIKA (CHICKEN PAPRIKA) 
1 chicken (cut up)
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 c. water
1 c. sour cream
2 tbsp. shortening
1 c. sweet cream
1 tbsp. paprika
Salt, pepper to taste

Saute onion in shortening, adding seasoning. Brown chicken for 15 minutes. Add water and cover. Simmer for 1 hour until tender.

Remove chicken to serving platter. Mix well sour cream with drippings in pan. Adjust seasoning, adding 1 cup sweet cream and heat. Do not boil. Serve on dumplings or kluski.
