GRITS CASSEROLE 
1 cup uncooked grits, cooked according to directions. Melt in 1 stick of butter. Melt in 1 pound of sharp cheese. Add 1 teaspoon salt or 1 teaspoon garlic salt and 1/4 cup milk. Fold in 6 beaten eggs. Bake in greased casserole at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Recipe may be halved, may be made ahead and frozen, then removed from freezer and baked.
