KRINGLER 
1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. powdered sugar
1 tbsp. water

Cut butter into flour and powdered sugar. Add water and mix as for pastry crust. Divide in half and press into strips, approximately 14 inches x 3 1/2 inches, on an ungreased cookie sheet.

PART 2:
1 c. water
1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. almond extract

Heat water and butter to boiling in a saucepan. Remove from heat, stir in flour and mix well. Add eggs, one at a time, beat until smooth after each egg. Add almond extract and mix. Spoon this mixture over the two pastry strips. Bake 40-45 minutes at 375 degrees (watch).

PART 3:
1 c. powdered sugar
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. almond extract

Drizzle over Kringler after it has cooled. Cut into strips crosswise.
