ONION - SPINACH CASSEROLE 
2 pkg. frozen chopped spinach
1/2 c. sour cream
1 can French fried onions
1 c. thinly sliced water chestnuts
1 can mushroom soup
1-1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 c. blanched slivered almonds

Cook spinach slightly and drain. Add remaining ingredients. Place in shallow buttered baking dish. Bake 300 degrees for 30 minutes. Serves 8.
