20 MINUTE YEAST ROLLS 
1 pkg. yeast
1/4 c. sugar
1 c. warm water
1 tsp. baking powder
1/3 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
1/3 c. shortening
1/8 c. melted butter

Mix yeast, sugar, warm water and set aside. Mix baking powder, salt, flour and shortening. Cut shortening into dry ingredients. Add yeast mixture, adding extra flour. Mix enough to knead. Roll out 1/2". Spread melted butter over top, double over. Cut out with biscuit cutter. Let rise 20 minutes or longer. Bake in 450 degree oven for about 15 to 20 minutes.
