1 1/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour
1 tbsp. butter
Dash salt
1 c. hot water
3 eggs, well beaten
Grated rind & juice of 2 oranges & 1/2 lemon

Combine sugar, flour, butter, salt and hot water and cook in saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly. When thick add rind, juice and eggs that have been mixed together before hand with hand mixer. Mix well. Will be enough for a 4 layer cake.
