FAMILY FRUIT PLATTER 
lettuce leaves
1/2 cantaloupe
1 med. green pepper, seeded & cut into rings
1 c. peeled apple, cored & cut in wedges
1 unpeeled orange, cut in wedges
3 lg. carrots, cut in sticks
3 ribs celery, cut in strips
12 prunes, pitted
about 1/4 c. peanut butter or cottage cheese

Line platter with lettuce. Cut cantaloupe in half, scoop out seeds. Cut crosswise in 6 wedges, then peel. Place in center of plate. Arrange green pepper, apple and orange wedges, carrots and celery around cantaloupe. With finger tips press prunes to make lettuce cups, then stuff with peanut butter or cottage cheese and add to platter. Makes about 6 servings. Good with ham or pot roast sandwich.
