BEER BREAD 
4 c. all purpose flour
1/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. baking powder
2 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 (12 oz.) can beer

Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a large mixing bowl. Stir in egg and beer (preferably at room temperature). Stir liquid ingredients into dry ingredients just until the latter are moistened; do not knead. Turn into a greased bread loaf pan and bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour.
