MAPLE PUMPKIN PIE 
1 c. canned pumpkin
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. mace
Dash of salt
1 c. milk
1 tbsp. melted butter
1 tbsp. maple syrup
2 eggs, separated
Single pie crust

Separate eggs, beat egg yolks and add remaining ingredients. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.

Pour into pastry in pie pan. Bake at 425 degrees 10 minutes, reduce heat to 350 degrees until filling is set.

If desired, sprinkle chopped pecans over pie 10 minutes before removing from oven.
