MEXICAN SALSA 
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 1/2 c. water
1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies
1/4 c. finely chopped onion
1-1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper

Combine all ingredients in medium saucepan; bring to a boil. Simmer 10-15 minutes. Use as a cooking or serving sauce for vegetables, meats, eggs, tacos, tostadas, enchiladas, casseroles or snack chips.
