TAIPEI SWEET SOUR BEEF BALLS 
1 lb. hamburger
1 egg
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 tbsp. green onion, diced
3 tbsp. cornstarch
8 oz. can pineapple tidbits
2 green peppers, diced
1 tbsp. salad oil
1 tbsp. soy sauce
3 tbsp. vinegar
1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. water

Mix beef, egg, salt, pepper, green onions and 1 tablespoon cornstarch together. Shape into marble size balls. Drain pineapple, reserving juice. Heat oil in skillet and brown meatballs on all sides. Remove meat from skillet. Mix together the remaining cornstarch, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, water and pineapple juice. Add to the skillet, stirring steadily until thickened. Add pineapple, green peppers and meatballs. Bring to boil and cook 3 minutes. Serve over rice. Serves 4 to 6.
