SWEET-SOUR BEEF BALLS 
1 lb. ground beef
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. onion, chopped

Mix and form into balls the size of a walnut. Brown in a small amount of oil. Drain.

1 c. pineapple juice
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. soy sauce
3 tbsp. vinegar
6 tbsp. water
1/2 c. sugar

Cook pineapple juice over low heat for a few minutes. Stir together other ingredients for the sauce and add to the pineapple juice and cook until it thickens. Stir constantly.

4 slices pineapple, cut into pieces
3 lg. green peppers, cut into strips

Add meat balls to the sauce with the pineapple and green pepper. Heat thoroughly. Serve hot over cooked brown rice.

COOKED RICE:

1 c. brown sugar
2 1/4 c. cold water
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. oil
