SUPER STUFFED ARTICHOKES | |
1 artichoke 1 c. bread crumbs (Italian style) 1/4 c. olive oil 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese Salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste Mix bread crumbs, cheese, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a bowl. Set aside. Wash artichoke very well. Cut off the bottom and remove some of the bottom leaves. Pound it on the sink so that you can stuff the insides. Stuff with bread mixture. Put it in a deep pan with a lid and 2 inches water. Pour oil over the top and steam. Baste often. Steam 1 hour on medium on stove top. |
