CRANBERRY DESSERT 
1/4 c. butter, melted
1/2 lb. vanilla wafers, crushed fine
1/4 lb. butter
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 egg
1 c. ground cranberries
4 apples, ground
1 c. drained crushed pineapple
1 c. sugar
1 c. miniature marshmallows
1 env. Knox gelatin
1 c. whipped cream
2 tbsp. sugar

Mix together 1/4 cup melted butter and crushed wafers. Press into 9 x 13 pan, reserving some crumbs for top. Cream together 1/4 pound butter, powdered sugar and egg. Put over bottom crust. Mix together cranberries, apples, pineapple, sugar, marshmallows and gelatin. Put over creamed mixture. Mix whipped cream and 2 tablespoon sugar and spread over fruit mixture. Let stand in refrigerator overnight.
