RUM SAUCE FOR BREAD PUDDING 
3/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. rum
1 tbsp. corn starch
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
2/3 c. water
1 tbsp. butter

Combine first 4 ingredients in a small saucepan; bring to a boil over medium heat. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Add lemon juice and butter; stir until butter melts. Serve warm over pudding.
