CAJUN CASSEROLE 
1 lb. Owens Hot Sausage
1 lb. ground meat
1 cabbage (med.)
1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes
1 c. raw rice (long grain)
Onions to taste
Bell pepper to taste
Celery to taste
Garlic to taste
Salt and pepper to taste

Cut cabbage into cubes.

Brown meat - add seasonings and cook a few minutes. Add Ro-Tel tomatoes, 1/4 cup water and raw rice. Cook 5 minutes. Add cabbage cubes and cook 5 more minutes.

In another pot make sauce: 1 tbsp. flour 1 c. milk 8 slices American cheese

Dissolve flour in milk and then add butter and cheese. Cook until sauce is smooth. Add this sauce to cabbage mixture.

Bake 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees in a covered casserole dish. You will need a large casserole dish. Serves 6-8 people.
