GRANDMA NAUGHTON'S CINNAMON
STICKS
 
1 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 c. nut meats, chopped (optional)
3 c. flour sifted with 1 tsp. baking soda

Mix in order given. Let stand overnight in refrigerator packed in wax paper lined 11 inch x 7 inch pan. Keep covered with wax paper.

To prepare for baking, divide dough into quarters. Use 1/4 at a time, keeping other 1/4's in refrigerator. Slice on breadboard in 1/8 inch thick slices or sticks.
