LIGHT CREAM OF BROCCOLI SOUP | |
1 (16 oz.) can ready to serve low-sodium, fat free chicken broth 1/3 c. instant nonfat dry milk powder 3 tbsp. cornstarch 1/2 tsp. dried onion flakes 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. dried basil 1/4 tsp. dried thyme 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli, thawed & drained 1 1/2 c. skim milk 1/3 c. shredded reduced fat Cheddar cheese 1 tbsp. butter flavored granules Combine first 8 ingredients in a large saucepan; bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Add broccoli and next 3 ingredients; cook until cheese melts and mixture is thoroughly heated. Makes 4 servings. |
