CHEX AFTER SCHOOL MIX 
9 c. Rice Chex cereal
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar

Place cereal in large bowl; set aside. In small saucepan over low heat melt chocolate pieces, peanut butter and butter until smooth, stirring often. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla. Pour over cereal, stirring until all pieces are evenly coated. Place cereal mixture and sugar in a large resealable plastic bag. Shake until all pieces are well coated. Spread on waxed paper to cool. Store in a resealable plastic bag or other airtight container.

Microwave Directions: Place cereal in large bowl; set aside. In 1-quart microwave-safe bowl combine chocolate pieces, peanut butter and butter. Microwave on high 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until smooth, stirring after 1 minute. Stir in vanilla. Pour over cereal, stirring until all pieces are evenly coated. Place cereal mixture and sugar in a large resealable plastic bag. Shake until all pieces are well coated. Spread on waxed paper to cool. Store in a resealable plastic bag or other airtight container. Makes 9 cups.

I made this, but I used half Chex cereal and half Apple Jacks, and I used white chocolate chips. It turned out SO yummy!!!
