BANANA SPLIT DESSERT 
FIRST LAYER:

2 c. vanilla wafers (crush coarsely)
3/4 stick butter (melted)

Mix and pat in 9x13 pan.

SECOND LAYER:

2 eggs
2 c. powdered sugar
2 sticks butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat in mixer about 15 minutes., just until thick (do not beat too dry) and spread on top of crust.

THIRD LAYER:

Cover top of second layer with sliced bananas.

FOURTH LAYER:

1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can and 15 1/4 oz. can crushed pineapple (well drained)

Spread over bananas.

FIFTH LAYER:

12 oz. container Cool Whip

Spread over pineapple.

SIXTH LAYER:

Drizzle chocolate syrup over all.

SEVENTH LAYER:

Sprinkle chopped nuts over all and refrigerate overnight.
