MOM'S LENTIL SOUP 
2 c. washed lentils
1 c. chopped onion
2 c. chopped carrots
1 can chicken broth + 3 c. water
Ham bone, ham chunks, franks or knockwurst
1/2 pkg. chopped spinach
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. celery salt
1 bay leaf

Combine all ingredients in large pot, bring to boil, let simmer 3 to 4 hours. Best when chilled in refrigerator and reheated. For next day's supper. Serve with garlic bread.
