SWEET BREAD 
5 lb. flour
2 lb. sugar
12 eggs
1 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. warm milk
2 sticks butter
1 stick butter
3 pkg. yeast
1/2 c. warm water
1 tsp. sugar

Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water, stir in 1 teaspoon sugar. Let stand 10 minutes. Beat 12 eggs. Heat milk, butter and butter together until butter and butter are melted. Add yeast. Mix in all dry ingredients. Knead until shiny (about 10 minutes).

Let rise in warm place until double in size. Punch down, shape into loaves, let rise again. Bake at 300 degrees until done. Brush tops with beaten egg before baking.
