1 stick butter
1 box sifted confectioners' sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
5 tbsp. evaporated milk
1 c. chopped pecans (optional)
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Melt butter on low heat. Add cocoa. Blend thoroughly. Add evaporated milk. Turn up heat to high. Stir constantly. Bring just to a boil. Lower heat and add sugar. Add vanilla and pecans. Pour out onto buttered pan.
