BLACK-EYED PEA DIP 
1 (15 oz.) can black-eyed peas with jalapenos
1/4 c. finely chopped onion
1/4 c. sour cream
2 tbsp. picante sauce
1 c. grated cheddar cheese

Drain peas and mash leaving some chunks. Add remaining ingredients and stir well. Spread in baking dish and cook 20 to 30 minutes in 350 degree oven. (Double or triple recipe for parties.)
