2 lb. ground round 1 sm. green pepper, chopped 1 sm. onion, chopped 1 (12 oz.) bottle chili sauce (homemade is even better) 1 (14 oz.) bottle ketchup Brown hamburg with pepper and onion. Try to break meat up into nice even consistency. You don't want large lumps. Then add chili sauce and ketchup. Stir occasionally and let simmer at least 1 hour. Larger quantities can be made for a crowd or divided up to freeze. |
