FUDGE FROSTING | |
2 c. sugar 1 c. water 1/4 tsp. salt 2 oz. cooking chocolate 2 tbsp. light corn syrup 2 tbsp. butter 1 tsp. vanilla 1. Cook sugar, water, salt, chocolate and corn syrup over a low heat, stirring constantly until sugar and chocolate dissolve. (Cover saucepan for 2-3 minutes to dissolve sugar on sides of pan.) 2. Cook until mixture is at the soft ball stage. (Mixture forms soft ball when a little is dropped into water.) 3. Remove from heat and add butter. 4. Cream the butter in a bowl and add the chocolate mixture, one tablespoon at a time, until well blended. Chill. |
