APPLE CRISP 
4 or 5 apples
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. quick cooking oatmeal
1/2 c. flour, sifted
1/2 c. butter

Pare apples and slice thin. Arrange slices in greased 8 or 9 inch pan. Combine oatmeal, sugar, flour and spice. Cut in butter. Sprinkle this mixture over apples. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) for 35 to 40 minutes. Can be served warm with cheese wedges or whipped cream.
