2 1/2 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 3/4 c. shortening (Crisco) FILLING: Cut chuck steak or roast into small cubes. Cut potatoes in cubes. Fine chopped onions. Make mixture of steak, onions and potatoes to suit your own taste. Add melted butter to coat. Salt and pepper. Roll dough 1/8 - 1/4 inch thick. Spread filling in center and seal. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. (Great topped with catsup.) |
