LEMONADE 
1 c. sugar
1 c. water
4 c. cold water
3/4 c. lemon juice

Mix the sugar and 1 cup water in a saucepan. Stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved. Increase heat, cove and boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat; cool. Mix the cold water and lemon juice with the cooled syrup. Pour over chipped ice or ice cubes in tall glasses. About 1 1/2 quarts.

LIMEADE:

Follow recipe for Lemonade. Substitute 3/4 cup lime juice for lemon juice.

ORANGEADE:

Follow recipe for Lemonade. Decrease lemon juice to 1/4 cup (or substitute 1/4 cup lime juice for lemon juice), decrease cold water to 1 cup and mix 3 cups orange juice.
