CHERRY AND FUDGE BARS 
1 pkg. Pillsbury fudge frosting mix
2 c. all purpose flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
21 oz. can cherry pie filling
2 eggs
1 c. flaked coconut

GLAZE:

Remaining frosting mix
1 tsp. flour
1/4 c. evaporated milk
Light cream or half and half
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/4 tsp. almond extract

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Grease 15"x10" jelly roll pan or 2 (9") square pans.

Measure 2 1/2 cups of frosting mix into a large bowl. Add the next 5 ingredients and blend for 2 minutes at medium speed. Spread in a greased pan. Sprinkle with coconut. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool 15 minutes. In a small saucepan, combine first 4 glaze ingredients. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Stir in nuts and extract. Cool slightly. Spread over the bars. Makes about 3 dozen bars.
