STUFFED PEPPERS 
1 lb. hamburger
1 med. onion, chopped
1 can stewed tomatoes
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 c. parsley flakes
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 egg
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste, mixed with sm. amount of water
6-8 green bell peppers, cleaned

Using half the can of stewed tomatoes and 3 tablespoons of the tomato paste, mix hamburger with all ingredients. Stuff the peppers and stand up in baking dish. Mix the rest of the stewed tomatoes with tomato paste (add small amount of water, if necessary), and pour over peppers. Dot each pepper with butter and bake covered at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until done.
