HOMEMADE GRANOLA | |
2 1/2 c. reg. rolled oats 1/2 c. diced walnuts 1/2 c. sunflower seeds 1/2 c. sesame seeds 1/2 c. shredded coconut 1/4 c. wheat germ 1/4 c. all-purpose flour (or soy flour) 1/4 c. nonfat dry milk 2 tbsp. brown sugar 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 c. vegetable oil 1/2 c. honey 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. raisins 1/2 c. dates 1. In large bowl combine oats, walnuts, seeds, coconut, wheat germ, flour, dry milk, brown sugar and cinnamon. 2. In small bowl mix oil, honey and salt. Pour over dry ingredients and mix well. 3. In 9 x 13 inch pan, bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. Stir in raisins and dates the last 10 minutes. Cool and stir. 4. May be stored at room temperature several months in a can. May be frozen. Makes 5 cups. |
