EASY CUSTARD PIE 
1 (9-inch) unbaked pastry shell
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 1/2 c. hot water

In a large bowl, beat eggs until light. Add salt, vanilla and condensed milk, mixing well. Blend in hot water and mix well. Set pastry-lined pie plate on oven shelf and pour in filling. If pastry shell is shallow, two pies may be made. Bake 10 minutes at 425 degrees. Reduce heat to 300 degrees and continue baking pie for 25 minutes, or until custard is set. Remove pie from oven and cool to room temperature. Chill before serving.
