TOSTADA SALAD 
2 heads lettuce, (preferably Romaine)
1 lg. avocado
1 (14 oz.) can kidney beans
1 lb. ground beef
1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
1/2 tsp. salt
1 red onion, chopped
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1 to 1 1/2 c. Thousand Island dressing
1 (16 oz.) pkg. Dorito corn chips
1 basket cherry tomatoes
1 can pitted olives

Cook onion, add beef and seasoning. Cook until beef is browned. Cool. Add all remaining ingredients and toss. Serves 8.
