BRAN MUFFINS 
3 c. sugar
1 large c. butter
5 tsp. baking soda
5 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 c. Nabisco Shredded Wheat and 2 c. boiling water
4 c. Kellogg's All-Bran
4 eggs, beaten

Cream sugar and butter. Sift soda, flour and salt. Pour boiling water over crushed wheat and let cool. Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs, buttermilk and cooled wheat. Sift dry ingredients and add all at once with bran. Mix until moist. Fill tins 2/3 full.

Bake at 400°F for 15 to 20 minutes. Will keep in refrigerator 5 weeks or more. One pint makes 1 dozen.

Makes several dozen. Can do ahead.
